What You Will Ship
Build and maintain OYO's guest-facing Android app — hotel discovery, booking, check-in, and loyalty features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose with clean MVVM architecture.
- Build UI screens using Jetpack Compose and legacy XML where needed
- Implement MVVM architecture with ViewModel and StateFlow
- Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit, handle offline-first with Room DB
- Optimise app startup time, memory usage, and battery performance
- Write unit tests with JUnit and Espresso UI tests
Requirements
2–5 years Android development. Strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose experience, solid understanding of Android lifecycle and architecture. Published Play Store app preferred.
